Purchasing Card Frequently Asked Questions

 

The University of Maryland, College Park has established a VISA credit card purchasing program. This program has been developed in coordination with the State of Maryland and the issuing bank. The credit card replaces the traditional paper requisition process of pricing inquiry, order placement, delivery of goods, invoice, voucher review and payment cycle by providing a more efficient and cost-effective method for departments to make small dollar purchases. The following is a list of questions and corresponding answers that may help to further explain the purchasing card program.
