Shopper Access in Shell shop
New Shell Shop users may request shopper access.
Shoppers have the ability to create and forward a Shell Shop cart to an existing requester/approver.
Employees may request shopper access by emailing ShellShopTeam@umd.edu. A paid or unpaid PHR appointment is required for Shell Shop access. Shell Shop is for the purchase of goods and services for University business only.
Once the new shopper has been added, a welcome email and training guide will be sent by the Shell Shop team.
If the new user is unsure of where to forward their cart, the Shell Shop team can coordinate with the department representative for clarification.

Requester or Approver Access in Shell Shop
Existing Shell Shop department representatives may request access for a new requester or approver using the request form on the Shell Shop landing page using the link titled "New/Update User Request". A paid or unpaid PHR appointment is required for Shell Shop access. Shell Shop is for the purchase of goods and services for University business only.
Upon receipt of the form Shell Shop staff will verify the information and add the new requester or approver to the system. A welcome email and training guide will be sent to both the new requester/approver and department representative.
